Hatchet

Authors Note: I wrote this piece because Hatchet is a very great book. There is a lot of action in it. 

The book Hatchet by Gary Paulsen is a great book. The book is very detailed, it has a lot of action, and it has a good story line. I am only on chapter five but it has been a very good book. The main character is Brian. He goes into an airplane to see his dad in Canada. It is only a 2 person plane. Then the pilot has a heart attack and dies in the plane.  After that Brian has to fly it but it runs out of gas and he has to crash it in a lake. And he is stuck by the lake.

The Beautiful Deer

 Authors Note: I wrote this piece because I saw an inspiring picture on google images. It was a beautiful picture of a deer.

Deer like being outside except for when that time comes, deer hunting. All deer hunters do are sit in a tree stand and wait for deer walk by so they can shoot it. Deer just walk down a path and be peaceful but no they can’t because they always end up getting shoot. Deer hunters are so mean. After they shot them they drag them back to their house and gut them. When they are finished gutting them they bring them to a place that can process them. Processing means they get meat out of the deer and make it into venison. It is very delicious.
